Revolut x Audi F1

The Revolut HQ Launch Campaign in London celebrated the opening of Revolut’s new headquarters and its collaboration with Audi F1. During the event, the office screens, mapped like a racetrack, transformed into a dynamic canvas where a heat map–style F1 car raced across the displays in a high-speed looping sequence. The visuals, paired with the immersive sound of an Audi engine, created a high-energy atmosphere that built excitement throughout the space and set the tone for the partnership announcement in the auditorium.

Challenge


Revolut and Audi are two brands with distinct identities. The challenge was to blend these identities together without emphasizing one over the other. Additionally, since the F1 car had not yet been publicly released by the time, we needed to hint at the car’s presence without fully revealing it.

Strategy


We drew inspiration from the F1 game concept and structured the experience as an abstract car showcase with stages including countdown, sprint, and arrival. Blue represents Revolut, while red represents Audi, and visuals were rendered in an abstract heatmap style.

Revolut’s values of freedom, precision, and boldness are represented through blue, while Audi’s values of iconic design, determination, and personal connection are represented through red. This dual-color approach highlights the collaboration between the two brands.

The heatmap-inspired style allows the cars to remain partially obscured while conveying the passion and energy of F1 racing. This creates abstract, dynamic motion that emphasizes excitement and collaboration.

Warm-up
The experience begins with the Abstract Car Showcase, where different stylized elements of the Audi F1 vehicle appear across various screens throughout the space. Heatmap-inspired visuals reveal the car’s components in a dynamic montage, gradually unfolding to create a captivating warm-up moment that draws guests into the experience.

Countdown
We used the four experience zones, known as the “tunnel,” to represent the race starting lights and build anticipation. A five-second countdown takes over all screens, signaling the start of the race. The abstract car visuals then fade out, transforming the tunnel screens into a vivid red gradient with a heat-map effect, guiding guests to walk through the tunnel toward the reception walls.

Sprint
The vehicle transitions into fast-moving lines that race around the space for about 20 seconds. As the car accelerates toward the finish line on the main screen, the animation reaches its climax, the final sprint. In this moment, the energy peaks: speed lines surge through the space, lights stretch and blur, and the motion builds into a powerful rush moving toward the auditorium. The audience feels as if they’re right there in the action, racing to the finish.

Arrival
The lines begin to dissolve into smoke, rendered in a heatmap style. As they fade from the screens, signaling that the car has sped past, a trail of exhaust and lingering animation remains, keeping the viewer engaged. This final moment culminates in a captivating visual on the auditorium’s main screen.

Application


This immersive Audi LED screen takeover brought Revolut’s collaboration with F1 to life through motion and light. Every screen in the space functioned as part of a connected circuit, transforming Revolut’s HQ into a dynamic visual racetrack. Animations flowed seamlessly across the tunnel, reception wall, and auditorium walls, creating a cohesive and fully immersive brand experience.
